DESCRIPTION:BLM plans to have a trail clean-up on Saturday\, Dec 20th from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Anthem East Trailhead in Henderson\, and you are invited to pitch in. \nThis short\, two-hour project is a chance to give a little love back to one of the most heavily used gateways into Sloan Canyon NCA. With thousands of people hiking\, running\, and biking the Anthem East corridor every month\, even a beautiful desert landscape needs a hand every now and then. Volunteers will help remove litter from disturbed areas around the Anthem East Trail. It’s simple\, satisfying work that has an immediate impact. Plus\, it’s a great excuse to get outside\, meet other folks who care about Sloan Canyon\, and do something good before the holiday rush swallows us all whole. \nWhether you’re a regular trail user or someone looking for a meaningful way to give back\, this clean-up is an easy way to make a real difference. This activity is suitable for the entire family. Clark County Library will have a story walk for families and their new STEAM van for a nature journaling activity.
